How it works
Refunds
Migiri relies on five main pillars:
- Daily Exercise: we want to replace problematic porn use with healthy habits that can reduce stress and anxiety, factors typically associated with problematic porn use. Open the app and you will find the Daily Exercise section in the homescreen. By the way, these have been specifically created by Clinical Psychologists.
- Awards: the client will receive awards as he/she leaves porn behind, this is to give a more tangible sense of progress to the client. Our clients love this gamification aspect of our product because it keeps them motivated to keep going.
- Companion: the client can assign an accountability partner (Companion), this is done in the profile section of the app. The accountability partner gets notified via email if the client is trying to access porn, but also when receiving awards for staying away from porn, as we believe that celebrating milestones together is a vital aspect of the accountability partner.
- Relapse Prevention: once Migiri is installed, and if all of the above techniques fail and the client is under the urge and tries using porn across any browser (Safari, Chrome, etc), even in private mode, porn is automatically blocked. Right after blocking access to porn, the client is invited to an audio guided exercise created by a Clinical Psychologist. We believe that simply blocking porn is not enough because the urge is still there. That's why we introduced this exercise that can help mitigate the urge to use porn through the R.A.I.N. technique.
- One on One sessions: optionally, we offer individual sessions with licensed therapists specialized in problematic porn use.
If you subscribed to Migiri through a Trial initiated in our website, please contact us through session@migiri.app including your invoice number.

Migiri offers refunds on Weekly Sessions to some customers, considering each case individually. You may need to meet specific criteria to receive your money back. Start by contacting us at session@migiri.app, and explain why you were dissatisfied with the services provided. Ensure you mention the compensation amount you wish to be refunded. You might include screenshots, bank statements, or other documents in your email.
Platforms supported
Migiri is currently available on iPhone, Mac and iPad. To install Migiri on a new device simply download Migiri on the device and sign up using your existing associated Apple ID. Migiri believes that I'm trying to watch porn
Follow these steps the next time that you get the notification that you are under the urge to watch porn so that we can identify what's triggering the notification.
- Open the urges notification from Migiri the next time that you see it.
- Once inside the relapse prevention screen, wait for your action plan to appear and then tap on "Other Options". Then tap on "Report website wrongly classified"; that way we will be able to look into it and fix it.
Additionally, if you are frequently getting the relapse prevention notification, chances are that you have some previously visited website classified as pornographic on your Safari's cache. To resolve this issue please follow these steps, it takes 30 seconds:
- Open Safari on your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad and tap the bookmark icon in the bottom right corner (the one resembling an open book).
- Tap the History (clock icon) button at the top.
- Search for any pornographic website that you may have visited in the past, swipe it from left to right and select Delete.
VPN technology
Migiri relies on VPN technology to monitor if porn is being watched and help you out. Thus, it should be the only VPN being used on your device.
Our users' privacy is paramount, we don't log any personal data including visited websites.
Trial & Subscription cancellation
If you started your Trial or Subscription through our website, please visit your Profile inside Migiri and tap "Manage Subscription" to cancel it.
If you started your Trial or Subscription through the App Store open the Settings app on your iOS device > Tap your name > Tap Subscriptions > Tap Migiri > Tap Cancel Subscription.

Frequently Asked Questions
Resetting my progress
To reset your counter open Migiri and visit your home screen. Inside your home screen you will find a section called "My Next Goal" with a "Restart my Progress" button at the end of that section.
Once you reset your progress, your counter starts from zero but the active goals remain the same. This is so that you keep all your previous awards with you as a testamentof your achievements.
Blocking an app or website
By default, Migiri automatically blocks access to explicit websites and apps; however you can block access to additional websites or apps that Migiri may not be blocking by default.
To create a personalized list of additional sites and apps that you would like to block, visit the Migiri Filter section that you will find inside the Profile section.
My Companion is not receiving emails
Your Companion will be notified as you progress on your journey without porn. If your Companion is not receiving emails from Migiri please ask him/her to check the spam folder. If the issue persists, we advice you to ask your Companion to use a different email address since some email providers may block our emails.
